The Aldevinco Shopping Center is one of the best places to buy pearls and handicrafts in Davao. This shopping center is located between two of Davao City’s busiest thoroughfares, conveniently nestled at the junction of Claro M. Recto and Manuel Roxas Avenues.
In 1963, Conrado Alcantara and his wife, Ladislawa, took one look at an 8,370 square meter property along Claveria Avenue (now Claro M. Recto Avenue) and decided that it was the perfect place for a commercial complex. Davao City then had just entered a time of progress in construction and even in business. Baker’s Hill is located in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. They sell all sorts of specialized baked goodies, from Hopiang Mongo, Hopiang Ube, Hopiang Pina, Hopiang Hapon, Mamon Crinkles, Brownies, Choco Slice, Choco Droplets, Tostadong Mamon, Pianono, and other Pasalubong Products. This theme park-looking area offers a children’s park and picnic areas in a cool and breezy environment. Although the site is a theme park, Baker’s Hill is most famous for the baked goodies they offer at very reasonable prices. It also houses an Aviary which makes Baker’s Hill such a treat to all families and couples looking for activities within the city.
