Almost one kilometer in length, and a perimeter of almost 2 kilometers. Close to 2 million bags of cement used to build it and 44,000 gallons of paint consumed. It also has 1.9 million floor tiles installed in it. One wonders if this scale of development was for an airport terminal, a seaport, or an industrial complex. The airport terminal was formerly the Military Airlift Command (MAC) terminal operated by the United States Air Force when Clark Air Base was an active U.S. military base in the Philippines over twenty years ago. The map shows the civilianized expansion and construction of new facilities since the Americans left in the early 1990’s.
