The Municipality of Lanuza boasts a rich mangrove forest that serves as breeding ground of fishes. This natural ecosystem features 177 hectares navigable estuarine, that winds though a scenic view of burgeoning green vegetation emptying out into the Doot Poktoy surf spot. The local community also takes full obligation in protecting and preserving this promising site which is viewed as one good niche that will increase fish productivity.
A ten-minute ride from the town proper, Adhika Beach Resort tenders a nice, quite spot for picnicking, swimming and boating. The water is shallow and has pool-like areas during low tide ideally convenient for children. This is composed of various privately owned resort open for business.

The Lanuza Marine Park & Sanctuary is located in Sitio Cagmino, Barangay Sibahay, 9 kilometers away from the town proper. This 111 hectare Marine Protected Area has been made as a habitat to different aquatic species. Along that guard house is the famous Sanctuary Café which stores hot and cold concoctions and native food of the town. One can enjoy their stay at this community-based project which exudes fresh air and verdant canopies that commensurate to its tranquil environment.
This is one of the garrisons of the Japanese soldiers during the Japanese regime. Campamento Cave located in the interior portion near Daniog river and Silop Spring at Silop, Agsam-Gamuton, Lanuza, Surigao del Sur is a naturally preserved structure that Lanzanhons (the people in the area) are very proud of.
