Siargao Island is composed of 48 islands and islets-politically divided into nine municipalities: Burgos, Dapa, Del Carmen, General Luna, Pilar, San Benito, San Isidro, Santa Monica, and Socorro. Naked Island is about fifteen minutes away from the city of General Luna in Siargao. Naked Island is appropriately named because this small patch of land is merely a sandbar, and not much more. Just like Camiguin‘s White Island, Naked Island has no shrubs or trees, but a clump of white, powdery sand. Because there are no trees or structures on the island, there is no shade, so visiting this island in the early morning is recommended.
Naked Island is occasionally used as a location of full-moon parties by night. People who visit during the day can stroll around the entire island in a matter of minutes.
Kampanoy Cave in Toboso is situated at Barangay Luna, approximately five kilometers from the town proper. Its spacious interior resembles a large dome cathedral.
