Philippine Army Museum Fort Bonifacio Makati Manila Military Display History War Weapons Tanks Collection Building Construction The Philippine Army Museum is located southwest of the Headquarters, of the Philippine Army Complex at Fort Andres Bonifacio in Makati City, Manila. It is a replication of the old facility that used to be located at MacArthur Avenue corner Memorial Road, Fort Andres Bonifacio, Makati City. The museum is a repository of Antique guns, cannons, tanks and other relics of World War II as well as captured paraphernalia, ammunitions and weapons of the New People’s Army (NPA). The Philippine Army Museum and Library Foundation, Inc. was dismantled and rebuilt piece by piece to its present site. The Museum “tells” the story of the Philippine Army from 1898 up to the present. Fort Bonifacio was a specified territory of Hacienda Maricaban during the early Spanish era. The US government acquired this 25.78 square kilometer property within the area of dispute between Taguig and Pateros to be transformed for military purposes during the American period.
