Many travelers mistakenly think they have arrived in Boracay when their plane lands at Caticlan Airport or Kalibo Airport. Travelers must first get to the Caticlan ferry terminal, locally known as the Caticlan Jetty Port, and take a 10-minute ride across the Strait of Tabon in order to get to the actual island.
After disembarking the plane and claiming any checked luggage, visitors will find a choice of ground transportation — mostly tricycles, which can take them to the Ferry Terminal for a small service fee.
The Caticlan Jetty Port and Passenger Terminal has boats departing as early as 5:30am in the morning until as late as 9pm at night.
