Bonchon recently opened up a new restaurant on Boracay Island. Bonchon Chicken is a New York based restaurant chain specializing in serving Korean style fast food. Since its restaurant opened its doors, diners have been lining up to get a taste of Bonchon’s unique crunchy and tasty chicken wings and drumsticks. Bonchon’s chicken can be described as very crunchy yet light and not oily, with hot moist juicy meat and flavored the Bonchon way.
To have crunchy Korean style chicken, a double-fry approach is implemented, in which the first batch gets rid of the unnecessary chicken fat to make it crispier; the subsequent fry has added their spicy seasoning or Soy garlic for the additional flavoring.
The cooking method has been so successful that Bonchon Boracay offers a wide selection of their chicken on their current menu to choose from. Bonchon’s main menu of Korean style chicken includes the Chicken Wings, Chicken Drumsticks, Chops, Thighs, the Chicken Combo “A”, the Chicken Combination “B”, and the Bonchon Chicken ‘Big Box’. Bonchon’s chicken is available in four unique flavors: Soy Garlic , Spicy flavor, Honey Citrus flavor or Crunchy Garlic .
The Bonchon Snacks & Mains Menu includes the Chapchae (stir-fry noodles), Calamari, the Fish Taco, the Bonchon Snackwich, Chicken Poppers, Poppers and Fries, the Chicken Sandwich, Crispy Squid Rice, Fish & Chips, the Crispy Shrimp Rice, the Beef Bulgogi Rice, the Crunchy Chicken Bulgogi, and the Bonchon Seafood Platter.
For the health savvy diners, Bonchon at the Lime Hotel offers a selection of warm Soups, Side dishes, and Salads. The Bonchon Soups and Salads Menu includes the Seoul Fried Rice, Bulgogi Noodle Soup, French Fries, Sweet Potato Fries, Korean Coleslaw, Caesar Salad, and the Oriental Chicken Salad.
No menu is complete without a choice of desserts to complete your meal. The Bonchon Desserts includes the following items: The Apple Caramel Crispy Crepe , Mangoes & Cream Crispy Crepe, Apple Caramel Crispy Crepe Kõ-Yõ a La Mode, Mangoes & Cream Crispy Crepe KõYõ a La Mode, Banoffee Pie Koyo (Korean frozen yogurt), Blueberry Torte Koyo, Mango Sansrival Kõ-Yõ, and the Koyo Mini.
